Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Corpus Technologies (“Corpus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, contact us, or use Corpus services for sales and support conversation automation.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to our marketing website, waitlist, related communications, and the Corpus product platform when made available to customers. It does not apply to third-party products that Corpus may connect with as integrations—except to the extent we receive data through those connectors under a customer’s configuration.

If you use Corpus through an employer or customer account, that organization’s agreement with Corpus and its own policies may also govern how your information is handled.

2. Who we are

Corpus Technologies operates Corpus, a business AI automation layer. Our first active product surface is conversation automation for sales and customer support, including reviewable AI drafts, safety checks, human-in-the-loop workflows, and audit trails.

For privacy questions, contact us at hello@corpus.ai or support@corpus.ai.

3. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Contact and waitlist data: name, email address, company name, role, and any message you send us when you join the waitlist or request contact.
  • Website usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps. We may collect this via cookies, logs, or analytics tools.
  • Communications: emails and other messages you exchange with us.
  • Account and operator data (when the product is available): login identifiers, role or permission level, account preferences, review actions, and configuration settings you or your admin set.
  • Customer conversation content (when connected): messages, contacts, labels, attributes, and related metadata ingested from channels and tools you authorize. This content is processed to evaluate intent and risk, generate reviewable drafts, run safety checks, record traces, and support handoffs.
  • Technical and operational logs: job status, error and recovery events, integration sync status, and security-related telemetry needed to operate durable workers and account isolation.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website, waitlist, and Corpus services.
  • Communicate about waitlist status, product updates, and responses to your inquiries.
  • Provide operator workflows such as draft review, AI traces, handoffs, and admin controls.
  • Enforce account boundaries, safety checks, autonomy policies, and auditability features.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Perform internal analytics in aggregate or de-identified form where reasonably practical.

5. AI processing and human review

Corpus may use automated systems—including models and deterministic supervisors—to evaluate conversations, apply safety checks, and propose reply drafts. By default, customer-facing outbound automation remains disabled unless an account policy explicitly allows it. Operators may approve, edit, regenerate, reject, or hand off drafts according to account settings.

AI decisions, safety findings, and review actions may be logged so accounts can reconstruct what happened. We do not use your customer conversation content to train public foundation models for unrelated third parties. If we ever use limited customer data to improve Corpus models or quality systems, we will do so only under the applicable customer agreement and with appropriate contractual and technical controls.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host infrastructure, email, analytics, or support tools under contractual confidentiality and use limits.
  • Integration providers you connect as required to ingest or sync conversations you authorize.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued protection consistent with this Policy.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies needed for site operation and optional analytics or preference cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Waitlist and marketing contact data is retained until you ask us to delete it or we determine it is no longer needed. Customer account and conversation data retention is governed by the customer agreement and account configuration.

9. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit where standard, account isolation as a product boundary, durable job handling, and audit logging of material AI and review actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the services at your own risk subject to our contractual commitments.

10. International transfers

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual protections with processors.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, email us at the addresses above. We may need to verify your identity and, for workspace data, redirect your request to the customer account administrator when they are the controller.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages or by contacting us. Transactional and service messages may still be sent when necessary.

12. Children

Corpus is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
